A Hometown Doctor with a Heart for Families
Dr. Harley grew up right here in McAlester and is excited to bring Flourished Family Chiropractic home to the community that raised her. Her practice centers on neurologically focused chiropractic care for kids and moms-to-be, looking beyond symptoms to how well the nervous system is functioning. Your first visit includes a full health history and a set of INSiGHT™ scans.
A Winding Path to Where She Was Meant to Be
Dr. Harley didn’t plan on chiropractic. She studied pre-med at Oklahoma State University and even interviewed for medical school. That morning, she told her husband she wasn’t sure this was the right path, and after praying about it, she wasn’t accepted. She now sees that as confirmation, not rejection. A class assignment later sent her to shadow a chiropractor, where a pamphlet about chiropractic and ADHD finally connected the dots for her.
Advanced Training with a Personal Story Behind It
She earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree and a master’s in pediatric musculoskeletal health from Parker University, along with her Webster training. Webster Technique is a gentle, specific adjustment that balances the pelvis and its supporting ligaments to help the body prepare for a smoother pregnancy and birth.
She’s also part of PX, a national network focused on neurologically based pediatric care. This became personal when she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer during her pregnancy and later watched her colicky son thrive under this same style of care.
Life Outside the Practice
Outside the office, she’s kept busy by her two-and-a-half-year-old son, her husband of three years, and their two dogs. The couple loves the outdoors and a good game of pickleball. Church community has always mattered to them, and they’re grateful to be a part of the First Baptist Church of McAlester. That same warmth and belonging is what she hopes every family feels the moment they walk through her doors.
